The fully equipped kitchen with modern appliances, also houses an antique wood-burning oven for bread made with stone fireplace and a vaulted roof which is a real monument to the skill of ancient building filicudari and a testimony of everyday life lived in these houses.

The floor of the terrace is still the traditional one original, the bottom bar and “oxidized” over time which gives a special rustic look that combines well with yellow occra facade. Hallmark of the old houses FILICUDI compared to the other islands, was the color of the facade and decoration with bands in relief with a different color than the bottom, the traditional colors used for the facades were more than the basic, achievable with land natural and lime: occra yellow, red brick, rust pyroclastic volcanic, pink, blue, natural white. The terrace is accessed through wrought iron gates, the surrounding lands, belonging to the house, filled with flowers, citrus, grapes, capers, figs, herbs typical of the island.
